"Heartfelt thanks to the ED at Sydney Hospital"

I severely injured my right wrist due to a fall.

On arrival, the Triage Nurse, Rosie, saw how much pain I was in and immediately brought me into a treatment room. The staff I saw, including Dr Mark, Nurses Justin, Anne, and Susan, and the X-ray tech, Kevin were all amazing. I felt they were professional, kind, caring and sought to make me feel comfortable under the severity of my injury (multiple fractures and displacement of the right wrist). They explained the necessary treatment, and under sedation, repositioned and cast the injured wrist. They were also able to refer me to an Orthopaedic Surgeon for a consult regarding the necessary surgery I would require.

I believe I could not have received more superlative care. In my opinion, the team at Sydney Hospital - Emergency Department (ED) was outstanding. I cannot thank them enough.
