"The exceptional care my child received in the ED"

About: Collie Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended Collie Hospital Emergency Department (ED) as my child was experiencing chest pain following an intense hour of exercise and both of us were worried and scared.

Beth and Laurel were the nurses on duty that attended to us and they were amazing in my opinion, putting us both at ease and reassuring us as they assessed my child. I believe they were spot on with diagnosis and treatment and even though my child's pain was settling, Dr Mo came and checked my child out to ensure it was due to dehydration and overdoing the exercise on a hot evening and not a heart problem.

I feel that my child found them engaging and listened to their advice. I would like to commend the Collie Nurses at ED for being so approachable and empathetic!

Dear Lilyboo,

Thank you so much for providing such lovely feedback regarding the care that your child received in Collie Hospital Emergency Department.

When your child isn’t well it causes such concern and I am so happy to hear that Beth, Laurel and Dr Mo were reassuring and that their assessment was spot on and alleviated your fears.

I will ensure that your feedback is relayed to the staff concerned. I hope that your child is feeling better and that you are no longer worried.

Kind Regards

Lucy Murphy
