"Armadale Hospital ED - amazing customer care"

I went through the Emergency Ward for the first time ever and although I hope it's the last time I ever have to visit emergency, I believe that I will be taken good care of at Armadale.

The patient care is second to none in my opinion. This incident is what stands out the most. I had an abdominal injury and at one point was feeling rather faint. I approached a nurse with my head spinning and was instructed to sit down. I let them know I was having trouble sitting and asked if I could use a spare bed that was there as I felt I was truly about to faint. The nurse immediately raced to get the bed ready and I was able to use it.

I also hadn't eaten much and towards the end, the dr got me some sandwiches! It seemed it is a very busy ward and as a result, I believe you do need to be patient and wait but they don't forget you and at all times are I feel are doing their best to attend to patients as quickly as possible.

I also was witness to them preparing for a life-threatening emergency. It was all hands to deck and I am in admiration that they do this all the time. All the staff that took care of me in the injuries department are truly amazing and I think they treat all their patients with the utmost respect.

For someone with anxiety, they made me feel so much more at ease. Please thank them!
