"The meanest headache"

About: Collie Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had a headache for four hours and it was getting worse. The pain got too much so I went to the hospital.

The nurse at the emergency asked me to give a number from one to ten I told her eight. She took my blood pressure and gave me a check-up and asked where the pain was, I said it was behind my eyes and in my temples, my eyes were sensitive to the light as well.

She gave me Panadol and Ibuprofen then she did pressure points on my temples and massaged my forehead for a while and the pain started going away. She told me it was tension.

I was out of there just under an hour. I felt a lot better. And here I am at home headache and pain-free. Thank you Beth - I think you're a pretty awesome Nurse.
