I have just got home after a visit to your Emergency Department. My elderly parent had a fall. We waited for 4 hours and gave up near midnight. Too long to wait.
Staff were lovely & apologised but it seemed obvious they were understaffed & unable to move patients through. Hopeless, in my opinion!
Where do I now take my parent? I believe they will be very reluctant to go to the Emergency Department next time.
