I was taken by ambulance to Northam Regional Hospital recently, the week after having surgery. The volunteers from a Toodyay St John Ambulance Subcentre were amazing.
I was seen by the nurse very quickly upon my arrival and within minutes I was seen by a consultant who took the time to listen to me, tell me their plan and why they made the decisions to do what they wanted to do.
The tests were done very quickly. The nurse that was treating me was so kind, caring and very professional and made me feel very comforted. When the results were in, the consultant came back and spoke to me and explained the results.
I have never felt so cared for and informed from a hospital in many years. I want to say a very big thank you to the consultant and nurse who took such great care of me.
"A very big thank you"
