"Truly the answer I needed"

Hi, I'm a parent of two children, my journey in life pretty much lead me to my reflections and hope for change for my family and children and self!

This past year I found myself really lost and broken and stuck, whilst having to be a single parent and needing to create a future for my children. During this time I was around people and choices that I have made, that I see now weren't the greatest and realised how God almighty, truly was showing my life choices right before my eyes with my trials and tribulations and that caused me to really reflect and take control of my life and do better.

One night, as I was sleeping at my local mosque. I was in tears and searched on my phone, looking for an answer to my problems. I came across the website of Lives Lived Well. What caught my eyes was the name, and then what it offered - that was recovery for parents and children. I believe that was truly the answer I needed and my blessing!

Whilst being here I've learned a lot, which means that you truly have to want to change and be willing to do the work for that change, I've learned that no matter who you are, people are people and I believe everyone is in some way, struggling and need a helping hand and with great supports and freedom, I've learnt that people can overcome any obstacle in their way and that we are all learners and all teachers.

My suggestion would honestly be to truly teach people to live simple and humble and grateful for the small and free things in life, as that is all you need in my opinion! If any funding is available I would suggest truly helping people gain educational courses with job avenues.
