This is was my second pregnancy through Armadale Hospital. During my first pregnancy, I did not have a great experience and saw a different midwife at every appointment back in 2017.

This pregnancy, I was a part of the midwifery group practice, where I saw the same midwife throughout my whole pregnancy and built up a great relationship with. She was also present for the birth, which made me feel much less stress and worried. The doctors, midwives, and nurses who cared for me during my stay were amazing. They all cared and always offered to help. Even once being discharged from hospital, I had my midwife come and do multiple home visits. This experience was so much better than my first. I highly recommend for anyone to try and get into this program as not everyone is a part of it.
