"Collie District Hospital"

About: Collie Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I experienced a sudden loss of feeling and strength in my right fingers/hand/arm. I received great care from Alan the Doc, Bobby and Jackie the RN’s on duty in the Emergency Department at Collie Hospital. Great sense of humour by staff, that I believe, certainly calmed everyone down.

Though further testing required, I walked out of Emergency feeling relieved, laughing and knowing what symptoms to look for that would require an Emergency visit again. Follow up treatment at Collie River Doctors with Doctor Alan should hopefully result in fixing the problem.

Dear Tradie,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about the care that you received at Collie Hospital Emergency Department. I will ensure that Alan the Doc, Bobbie and Jackie are made aware of your kind words. A sense of humour can certainly relieve tensions for everyone.

It is good to know that you were fit enough to be discharged from the department and go home and that you have a follow-up treatment plan.

Kind Regards

Lucy Murphy

District Manager Collie Hospital.
