Our team wanted to really thank Kylie from Lives Lived Well for all her advocacy on behalf of a client we were working with. We believe she went above and beyond and it was inspiring. She followed up with people, had a great domestic violence lens, was very flexible in service delivery which was needed by the client due to risk. She met with the client at many service places, met with stakeholders, initiated collaborative work with stakeholders, and, we believe, made the client feel heard and supported.

Kylie showed so much respect for people who access Lives Lived Well and this was inspiring. We feel that part of the brilliance which is Kylie is how she made us, as stakeholders, feel that others cared as much about survivors and that there is hope. We loved her fierce advocacy and humour.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us of your team's experience in working with Kylie from Lives Lived Well. The fact you have been inspired by her dedication is great praise indeed. Her respect, advocacy, timely follow up, flexibility, skill in using a domestic violence lens and her perseverance to keep a connection with the client and yourselves as a supporting agency come through very clearly.

This story makes visible many of Lives Lived Well's values and in particular our belief that with the right support people can change. It is great to hear that you have witnessed this in your work with Kylie and have a renewed sense of hope that others care about survivors as you do.
