I presented to Armadale Kelmscott health campus ED with severe anxiety, depression and feeling suicidal. I was very scared to present here but felt it was my last hope. The triage nurse was very thorough and I was soon seen and sent to wait. After a very short wait, I was seen by a very caring and empathetic mental health nurse Mark who listened carefully to everything I told him.
I was then seen by a very caring and kind mental health doctor (whose name now escapes me) who discussed with me some treatment options and I was prescribed some medication, some follow up care was organised (who have been in touch) and I was then discharged into the care of a friend with instructions to come back if I needed. I was thoroughly impressed with the care, respect and empathetic way I was treated. I couldn’t have felt any worse but am starting to feel better. A big thumbs up to Armadale emergency department.
