"Testing for COVID-19"

About: Nepean Hospital

(as a service user),

I needed to get a COVID-19 test and we drove down to the clinic near our home, just before midday (the clinic opens at 10.30 am). I believe there was a crowd of about 20 people all waiting in line, half not even wearing masks. In my opinion, people were not very well distanced and I felt seriously fearful of standing in a line with a bunch of people potentially carrying the virus.

Why wouldn't the hospital have a numbering system and advise people to wait in their cars with no more than 2-3 people in the line at any one time?

This is ludicrous, in my opinion, and I am very unhappy about this. I feel I have to put off getting my test done until there are less people. How on earth are we ever going to get any real numbers, when, in my opinion, any smart person would simply turn around and go home if they saw that line, and I believe any dumb person would stand in that line at a high risk of contracting it, even if they didn't have it at the time? Not happy at all.
