"My spouse's care"

About: Bunbury Hospital Harvey Hospital / Palliative Care

(as a relative),

Hello,

My husband passed away in your hospital on Good Friday.

My thanks goes to all the staff, from Larene to everyone who helped him and myself during our stay. It was a very difficult time for my husband with Parkinson’s and so sad for myself and family. The kindness and compassion shown by the wonderful nurses to myself and to my husband, especially when he was in Palliative Care, was so wonderful.

My spouse spent nearly three weeks at Bunbury Hospital under the care of Dr Ramesh in Neurology ward. Then spent nearly a week in Harvey Hospital (special ward near nurses station) and then less than a week in Palliative Care.

As I don’t know the names of all the staff that helped my husband to the end of his dreadful journey, would you please convey my most grateful thanks.

With love to all,

His wife and family.

Dear defenderrr58,

On behalf of the Larene Hayward and the Harvey Hospital team, I would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your husband. The kind words that you provided via Care Opinion to the Harvey staff is heartfelt and really appreciated. I will ensure that the staff are made aware of your feedback.

It is really good to hear that your husband and yourself were treated with kindness and compassion while he was in Palliative Care. These memories will hopefully ease the loss over time.

Kind Regards,

Lucy Murphy

District Manager Harvey Hospital.
