I have recently given birth to my second child, and decided to use the MGP4 model of care. This was the second time I had used MGP4. The first time was nearly three years ago with my first child.
My midwife for my second child was Holly who was there for the birth of my first child. It was great to see a familiar face on my first antenatal visit. Sarah took over my care halfway through as Holly went on leave which wasn't a problem at all as I had met Sarah before as had done my home visit for my first child.
In my opinion, Sarah and Holly are such wonderful and friendly midwives. They listened to my concerns regarding the upcoming birth of my baby and reassured me everything would be ok. They offered great advice when I needed it.
I feel the MGP4 team are amazing. I would highly recommend this model of care as the continuity of care is great. I really like that I had the same midwife for all my appointments and that I didn't have to explain my past medical/birth history each visit.
