(as the patient),

I was an inpatient for quite a few days at Pemberton Hospital Southwest WA and was very unwell. All staff that looked after me from day to night showed so much compassion and professionalism. They went above and beyond the call of duty (something I believe you only ever see in rural and remote hospitals).

I was in a lot of pain and had treatment was full-on, yet staff found the time in their very busy schedules to make me laugh (which is the best medicine ever! - even though it hurt at times). So huge gratitude to you all at Pemberton Hospital and the community of Pemberton WA.

Dear MNPGM,

I hope that you are recovering well from your recent illness that resulted in hospitalisation in our lovely Pemberton Hospital. I agree with your comments that staff are both professional and compassionate when providing care and are also able to connect with patients to make you feel at ease with some light humour (as you say laughter is the best medicine!).

I will let staff know of your comments and that you felt they went “above & beyond the call of duty”, it will certainly make their day and is greatly appreciated that you took the time to feedback.
