After falling very ill, my spouse took me to Kalgoorlie Hospital. I was rushed in, swabbed, and test taken straight away after a doctor had a hunch.
The hunch was correct, I had Pneumonia but worst of all it was Legionella Pneumonia, after planting seedlings. I had not taken the right precautions in keeping myself safe, after 10days I was released, but let me tell you about the wonderful care by Nurses, Patient Support and Doctors!
Wow, just wow! So much care, so much love. I got myself into a situation where I couldn't help myself but I was lucky to have the most beautiful Nurses and support people around me; I felt they listen to you, they hear you, they encourage you. Isolation is one thing I never thought I could handle but these nurses made sure I didn't feel lonely.
D Ward nurses and COVID ward Nurses - my appreciation and love to you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for keeping me sane, safe and getting me healthy. It's you guys that make that place a good place to be...
