"Box Hill Emergency Staff"

About: Box Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was taken to Box Hill recently, with a suspected stroke. Fortunately, it was only Bell's Palsy.

The care was swift and thorough, in my opinion. My gratitude to the Paramedics from Montrose and all the staff at the Hospital. I saw an Emergency Department (ED) doctor within minutes and a neurology doctor within a few minutes after that. So grateful.

The ED was extremely busy and everyone seemed so composed and caring.   Can't speak more highly of all the staff, in my opinion. So again, thanks heaps.

Dear lotionhh64,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share these comments on your experience when you needed to be taken via ambulance to Eastern Health's Box Hill Hospital Emergency Department.

This must have been a very troubling time for you and I was so pleased to see, through your comments, the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Excellence, Respect, Agility and Humility were so clearly practised by the staff within the Emergency Department. I am so proud to work with people like those who provided care to you and it will give me great pleasure to share your comments with them.

I trust you are well on the way to recovery.

Take care and best wishes,

David
