(as a parent/guardian),

I visited the Tom Price Child Health Nurse, Nerida, with my child for their first immunisation. I had my child in QLD and due to COVID, I missed out on all the follow-up appointments with child health and did it all over the phone (which you definitely miss out on a lot of information).

Upon learning this, I felt Nerida went about it, to go through everything with me, being a first-time mother, this was invaluable, in my opinion. Nerida made a situation, that would normally be very daunting and unpleasant, as pleasant as can be and went above and beyond to help me.

I even received a lovely call after the appointment so that she could follow up with some information about a subject we were talking about. It is very refreshing to deal with someone who is so kind and clearly cares. Thank you :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback regarding your experience with Community Health Tom Price.

It's very pleasing to hear that the care provided to you and your child by the child health nurse at Tom Price Community Health went above and beyond your expectations. In Population Health we strive to provide a service that meets the needs of each and every one of our consumers. The staff are cognisant of the fact that many of our clients and especially our first-time mums are often living many miles away from their usual support networks.

I am very proud of the Community Health team who consistently demonstrate empathy and professionalism when caring for our consumers. Feedback such as you provided lets our staff know how appreciated they are, and encourages them to continue to provide excellent consumer-centered care.
