Good to have 5-6 weekly catheter changes at home with people who were experienced and confident in this skill.
Our situation was made easier by the personalities of the nurses, Sue and particularly Amy. Working in people's homes, I believe it's necessary to have a good working relationship and these two did this brilliantly - not overstepping boundaries, but giving us reassurance and moments of humour.
