"Great care we received in the Emergency Department"

About: Broome Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

Our child trod on a fishing lure buried in the sand at the beach. We went to Broome Hospital Emergency Department and Doctors Maureen & Sean were fantastic - very skilled and gentle. We were seen quickly and our child was given great pain relief so didn’t feel a thing. Thank you to everyone working in the department!

Thank you for letting us know about your experience in ED at Broome Hospital, and thank you for speaking with me the other day.

As always, it is heartening to hear these positive stories about the care being received at Broome Hospital.

The staff care deeply and work together as a team, always with the patient at the centre of their thinking. I will personally let Maureen and Sean know of your acknowledgement and I am sure they will be very happy to hear that your son is doing well.
