"Compassionate staff member"

About: PathWest Busselton Collection Centre

(as the patient),

I recently attended Pathwest at Busselton Hospital and a second time the following week. The same lady took my blood each time.

I was experiencing a miscarriage and needed my hCG levels taken. The lady who took my blood was so compassionate and kind and I just wanted to say it made such a difference to the horrible day I was having.

I am very thankful to her.

Hi velape46,

Firstly let me say I am sorry you are going through a tough time at present and that you have just experienced a "horrible day". I hope things will improve for you.

I was, however, pleased to hear that our phlebotomist made a difference to that day by showing you compassion and kindness when you needed it. These qualities are ones that we strive to show to all our patients at all times. Thank you for taking the time and effort to post this good news story. I will certainly pass your thanks on to our staff in Busselton PathWest.

Kind regards,

Martin Taylor
