"A memorable stay"

About: Box Hill Hospital

(as a service user),

I went in with a broken leg. I have been all over the world in Military hospitals and other country's hospitals. I flew back with a broken leg from overseas and when I got home I was sent to Box Hill hospital and in ward 7.1.

I want to say thank you to a nurse that really connected with me. Made my stay a memorable one. Such kindness is hard to find I believe, but I want to thank Julie. She made my stay bearable. Many other Nurses were great also but I will not forget Julie. Thanks so much for your company during my stay.

Dear velaes63,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share these comments regarding your positive experience at Eastern Health's Box Hill Hospital. I was so pleased to read, the nursing team in ward 7.1 delivered care that met your needs. It will give me great pleasure to share your comments with them and their manager so they can recognise the difference they have made.

I appreciate your special acknowledgement to Julie who clearly demonstrated the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility and went 'above and beyond' to make your experience so positive.

I trust your leg is healing well and you're able to resume your normal activities.

Take care and kind regards,

David
