"The wonderful social worker"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital

(as a relative),

My parent was in hospital recently and was discharged after their hand surgery. I asked if anyone can be sent home to give them a hand with cleaning, making bed, etc. My parent also has multiple health problems with their knees and back.

The social worker who came out really helped us out and was able to get things done quickly. Her name was Beata and we are very appreciative of what she’s done.

Dear snowzy35,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your parent’s experience. It is pleasing to hear that the care and support provided met the needs of your family during this time. Our service strives to always provide quality, patient-centred care. I will pass on your kind words of appreciation to Beata, who will welcome the acknowledgement.

I hope that your parent is recovering well at home.

Regards,

Dr Pauline Rumma

Director of Clinical Services
