"They have looked after me brilliantly"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / PB1W - General Rehabilitation Unit

(as a service user),

I got really better after my stroke and I felt good about myself through what the Prince of Wales Hospital staff has done for me. I had 12 weeks of physiotherapy, nursing and Occupational Therapist coming to visit me and I still do the exercises daily and I will continue to do those exercises as long as necessary to get back the way I was before the stroke.

Since the stroke, people have said to me how well I look, I still have a long way to go but I will keep at what I am doing as long as it takes.

Nina and Karin from the Outpatient Service have been terrific, they have given me plenty to do and they have been very vigilant with me over the past 6 to 8 weeks. They haven't left anything to chance.

Dear matarhh57,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us to acknowledge the Rehabilitation staff and share your positive experience at the Prince Of Wales Hospital. We are delighted to read that you are recovering well and appreciate your kind words about the Physiotherapy, Nursing and Occupational Therapist staff involved in your care, in particular, Nina and Karin who provided such a positive and professional experience.

I hope that you are continuing to recover well after the stroke and again I thank you for taking the time to express your appreciation.

Kind regards,

Elizabeth Browne
