"Great Care from WA Country Health Northampton"

Recently, we were camping near Northampton in Western Australia when I noticed a line of bruises running along my inner arm. Now, I did recently have a stent put into my heart and take some serious anti-platelet meds that make me bruise a lot easier than before. Still, I normally recall the bumps that lead to bruises. This was, however, something else.

After some photos sent to my cardiologist, I was advised to get an ECG done ASAP, which meant a trip into Northampton's hospital where we were received by Chris. Now, here is a special person in a very special place. I believe it is rare to find someone so capable, compassionate and caring as Chris and her co-workers.

They made quick work of the ECG and had a good look at the bruising and made all the arrangements to get a more thorough checkup done in Geraldton where they were better equipped to check for blood clots.

Chris, thanks for the excellent care, well-informed advice and true compassion you and your colleagues provided. You are a real hero!
