Recently I was at home where I found myself getting weaker and weaker then becoming completely disabled. I couldn’t use my feet or hands or legs or arms. I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t even do my own insulin because my fingers didn’t work. I came to the Prince Of Wales Hospital where I was diagnosed and treatment started.
My treatment included the rehab occupational therapist Lauren and physiotherapist Sarah seeing me on the ward. I believe that without them, I would have stayed disabled and lost my quality of life. I feel they have given me back my independence and my life. I am incredibly grateful, especially that I got such great care.
