"Poor communication"

About: Geraldton Hospital

(as other),

I had a really nasty cough. Tried to ring hospital over the weekend in the morning about doing a Covid test and I got such a runaround. Not sure if it was my fault.

I felt all they needed to say was go see so and so but I kept getting transferred to different people. I then called a different number and got the health nurse who thought I had asthma. I've never had asthma before but anyway, I followed their instructions.

A few days later I went and saw the GP but couldn’t even get past the receptionist because as soon as I explained my condition they advised that I need to get a COVID test done at the hospital which is what I was trying to do a few days before.

I am just annoyed at the hospital for not being able to assist me when I rang them and that’s my complaint.
