(as the patient),

Recently, I went to the emergency dept in Augusta Hospital as I was in extreme pain and distress. I was readily admitted, and promptly assessed by a wonderful nurse named Joe.

She made me comfortable whilst waiting for the doctor to attend me. Dr Gary was on duty; he examined me, gave me pain relief, and an immediate referral for a scan. He subsequently contacted me with the results the same day. I would like to thank these care professionals for the excellent service they provided, for which I am grateful.

Small town hospitals are such a vital part of the community, and important they always remain here. Having now used these services, I have every confidence in the hospital, it's staff, and treatment.
