About: Derby Hospital / Emergency Department

Very pleasant experience going through triage with nurse Sarah. 

I waited 2 hours for treatment, regardless of having a GP appointment booked with Derby Hospital, but because the WACHS GP clinic roof collapsed, I presented to ED. 

Triage nurse provided me with water. The medical team provided quality GP and were very friendly. The medications prescribed had a noticeable impact on my medical issue :D

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback about your experience at the Derby Hospital Emergency Department. It is fantastic to hear you experienced such thorough care and treatment by our nurses and medical team in the emergency department that made a difference to how you were feeling.

The closure of the GP clinic for the day was unexpected and we tried to minimise the impact to waiting times in the emergency department but unfortunately, we still experienced some delays, I am sorry you were impacted by this. We appreciate your understanding with the cancellation of the GP clinic and your patience with the delays you experienced in the ED waiting area.
