My parent became very unwell whilst on holiday in Kalbarri. They went to the Kalbarri hospital and was assessed with the utmost care and diligence (thank you Dr Andi and the Spanish(?) nurse) and deemed to require emergency treatment in Geraldton. Huge thanks to the staff there at Kalbarri who saved my parent's life!
They were transferred by Ambulance to Geraldton (huge thanks to the ambos who reassured my parent and took great care on the drive down) and was found to have a pneumothorax, requiring urgent treatment.
The staff at Geraldton hospital were amazing. The care, compassion, quality and excellence has been commendable (hospitalised for three days).
I believe we live in a very lucky country and our heartfelt thank you to the service.
