I was encouraged by my child safety officer to come to Logan Family Recovery (LFR) program in order to keep my unborn baby in my care and work towards getting my other children back in my care. I arrived on a Friday with my partner and I was 38 weeks pregnant. I was a bit nervous, and then we came and we settled in quickly before getting into the program. I had my baby and was able to return back to LFR to be with my family.
Along the road of my journey in LFR, I had the best support from staff. They were great listeners, caring, non-judgemental and not only supported me as an individual but also in my relationship. I felt I was treated equally and enjoyed living in my own stylish unit with my family, the facilities here were very comfortable. I felt like I had everything I needed. The structure of the program suited mine and my baby's needs and I really enjoyed the meals provided.
The parents under pressure group was amazing and I felt very welcomed and at ease with my baby. I would recommend LFR to other families as the staff were very knowledgeable and I felt at ease accepted in the program.
