About: Geraldton Hospital Telehealth Service - WACHS Midwest

(as a service user),

I just wanted to pass on a thank you message to Geraldton Hospital teleconference staff.

I was advised of the video conference appointment by the staff at the regional in a prompt manner. The experience onsite has been great and was provided with all the required information beforehand as I needed to get X rays done for the Doctor in Perth to view - that was all done online.

Kudos to the Geraldton telehealth team, I am happy I don't need to travel to Perth.

Thank you for your favourable feedback to Care Opinion on our telehealth service. It was great to read that your experience was positive and the metro and country care teams worked together to provide you with the care you needed close to home.

As country consumers, we are fortunate to have a telehealth service that supports appointments with specialists via video conference. In 2018, the telehealth service saved WA health consumers from travelling 28.6 million kilometres. The telehealth team across the state do a wonderful job and the local telehealth team are fantastic at enabling local access. It will be a pleasure to share your feedback.
