"Respite at Wallambin Lodge"

About: Wyalkatchem Koorda Hospital (Aged Care)

(as a friend),

My friend recently had knee replacement surgery, returned to our home town of Wyalkatchem and went into Wallambin Lodge for a weeks respite. I believe their knee was a little slower to recover than the last one, so they stayed another week in the Lodge until they felt more comfortable and confident to return to their home.

My friend was able to attempt doing everything for themselves, and I believe the staff were very supportive of this, knowing they lived alone. All staff were very friendly and helpful when needed.

The meals were most enjoyable and very well presented. All facilities were clean and tidy.

My friend didn’t have any issues with other residents, all were friendly and understanding of their need to become independent.

I believe my friend thoroughly enjoyed their respite at Wallambin Lodge, Wyalkatchem - Koorda Health Campus. My friend said they would recommend this great facility to anyone needing low care in the future.
