"Quality of care provided by staff"

I recently had a fall, as a senior citizen this is quite serious. I spent several days at Logan Hospital with severe grazing, bruised shoulder and 3 broken ribs. It was a very traumatic time for me with a lot of pain. From being picked up by the Paramedics to being placed through ED to Ward E11, I could not have been better handled. The numerous Surgeons, Doctors, Pain Management Groups, Mental Health Groups, Physio Groups, who spoke to me at length giving me the full information applying to me. I could not have been more informed.

Now I have saved the best for last. The Nursing staff. The Nursing staff from Ward E11 were amazing. I have never seen a group of people working together, offering to do a job for one caring for a patient. The RNS, ENS and Nursing Assistants are absolutely brilliant. I cannot say enough good about them.

In my opinion, every one of them deserves a medal and the highest praise possible. Oh, they do have a great sense of humour as well.

Based on my experience, if you do need to go to Hospital ask to be taken to Logan Hospital, I believe you will not regret it.
