I had several months of breastfeeding problems and it was suggested by my GP that I try and get an appointment with the breastfeeding clinic at King Edwards. I live rurally but was willing to drive to Perth to try and get on top of the feeding issues and continue breastfeeding (at that stage I was very ready to give in).
Fortunately, the clinic had started telehealth sessions and offered me an appointment to avoid the 10-hour round trip to Perth. I had two appointments with Shaughn, my lactation consultant at the clinic. She was amazing- professional, extremely knowledgable and just a lovely person. I felt very well looked after.
I was so appreciative of the telehealth service. It ran so smoothly and I was able to stay in the comfort of my own home and use my computer. Awesome service. Thank you and great job to everyone who helped me at the breastfeeding clinic at KEMH.
