"We want to express our gratitude"

About: Kojonup Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

We want to express our gratitude to the amazing staff at Kojonup earlier this year.

Jean, Elise, Maxine and Sandie. The cohesive manner that these nurses approached and treated my spouse's trauma was second to none - the skill and execution of care for my spouse were that of a "well-oiled machine".

My spouse had 12 rib fractures and a punctured lung, they were stabilised at Kojonup and flown by helicopter to a major hospital's State Trauma Unit/ICU.

The nursing staff worked with the ETS Dr, co-ordinated the RFDS. Their manner at all times was professional, competent and compassionate.

We are so proud of the staff at the Kojonup Hospital and our community is fortunate to have such a team. We would also commend Rebecca for her valuable assistance navigating the PATS service.

Dear, I dont have one,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the care your spouse received at Kojonup hospital following recent road trauma.

Our Nurses take their work very seriously and invest significantly in skill development to ensure their ability to respond to emergency situations.

Often it is challenging in a small hospital to both care for the patient and coordinate a safe and complex transfer to a tertiary site.

We value your pride in our staff and we agree we are fortunate to have such a great team.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Kind regards,

Robyn Millar
