"Treatment and patient care"

I have a chronic, genetic illness which affects my heart, kidneys and nervous system. I have been treated at POW for the past 8 years and wanted to say how much I have been impressed by the treatment from Doctors and the patient care from nursing and administrative staff.

This is an excellent, world-class hospital and one that Australians should be very proud of. I have lived abroad in the past, in the USA and Hong Kong, so I have international experience to compare with. Australia's health system, though not perfect (nothing is!) is exemplary, particularly when compared with those I've experienced abroad.

Both medical science and patient care is second to none in my opinion. And POW is a prime example of that. Let's never let the governments and politicians ever attempt to diminish the quality of our health care.
