I was admitted to the RPH Mental Health Emergency Centre after a very rough 12 weeks. I was in a state of absolute distress and very mentally unwell and was brought in by SJAS. I was later referred to MHEC where they kept me safe until I was able to be transferred to a private treating psychiatrist. I can 110% recommend the nursing staff and treating psychiatrist at MHEC. Together as a whole team they were brilliant and kept me safe and helped me in ways I can’t even put into words.
I’d like to thank the Mental Health Nurse who did my admission who regularly checked in on me during my stay to ensure I was tracking well.
If like you send a massive thank you to the nursing staff in this unit who, in my experience, really are so incredibly supportive, non-judgmental and incredibly committed to providing the best care to their patients. Myself and my spouse will be forever thankful to each and every one of you. One particular nurse (Nurse R) ... you were brilliant!
