"Emergency Department and Paediatric Ward Stay"

Attended the Emergency Department and was then admitted to Paediatric Ward with my young child for 2 nights. Every staff member we encountered at the hospital was wonderful, from the triage nurse who gave us her full attention, despite there being a disruptive person in the waiting area, the medical staff in both departments (we encountered drs Brittany and Lucy as well as nurse Tammy in ED, drs Ben and Melanie, nurses Meg, Lauren, Kendell in Paeds and many more I wish I had remembered their names), as well as the cheerful catering and cleaning staff members which helped make the stay a little more comfortable for my child.

All decisions made by the medical staff were clearly considered and we never felt rushed, despite it being a very busy environment. We were given plenty of time for explanations and questions. All medical staff were approachable and personable, knew what they were doing and how to deal with a child. There was nothing I could fault. Very lucky to have had such a great experience!
