"Surgery"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Surgical Ward

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted for surgery on an abscess which was lanced and meant to be cleaned a few days earlier in fast track at Bunbury Hospital. It got worse when I was sent home.

I waited all day, only to be told late in the evening I would not be having surgery that day. It was put off until the following afternoon if it could be slotted in. I feel that this was not good enough due to the pain I was in.

The surgeons, I felt, were not very caring at all. I feel that if it was a matter urgent enough to be admitted, in my opinion, it should have been done on the day I was admitted.
