"My spouse's admission"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / ASB 5S - Orthopaedics Ward

(as a carer),

My spouse was admitted to POWH with a fractured ankle recently over the weekend. They were taken to POWH ED. The staff there quickly organised pain relief and an X-ray. My spouse had surgery several days later and is now home with follow up organised.

We would like to thank the staff in the ED, Dickinson 2 North and the Patient Discharge lounge for their care and professionalism. We would also like to thank the Physiotherapy department. When we left the hospital my spouse commented that we are so lucky to live in a country where we have such great healthcare. I couldn't agree more.

Thank you to all the staff for the great work you do.

Dear venusbr88,

Thank you for this feedback, our teams work together and strive to provide cohesive, well co-ordinated care from Admissions to Discharge. It is kind of you to acknowledge the hard work of the departments involved in your spouse's care, they will certainly be heartened by your recognition.

We hope your spouse is recovering well after their accident.

Kind regards,

Andrew Maxwell
