I had a referral a few months ago, got to the appointment and was asked all the same initial questions as my Doctor asked and told I needed to get scans and bloods which I already had done - which is why I was going to the Endocrine Centre (had already even had a Nuclear Scan). Doctor said they didn't have any results with them so I should go and get more bloods done and they would follow up the scan results.
Went and got bloods done again and never heard from the doctor.
Went back to GP who re-referred me as a Priority 1 and it has been 2 months and I called them and they received and confirmed my referral 2 months ago but said, have never made the appointment, sorry. So I am now awaiting a call back again. A day later, no call.
I know they are public but my health is not good at all and declining - It is now November and I have had no treatment or any help since several months ago with my thyroid which is impacting on my ability to eat and breathe.
"Lack of communication about my appointment"
