I had two routine tests booked within one month of each other, the first test was for prostate and the second a colonoscopy.
The prostate proved to be cancerous and as though that wasn’t enough to deal with, the colonoscopy showed a bowel mass which was removed two weeks after the exam.
Luckily the mass was pre-cancerous in the bowel.
I am extremely grateful to my GP for organising the tests despite not having any symptoms as the outcome could have been a lot worse.
The care I have had so far has been first-rate with a dietitian, physio, doctors, nurses, reception staff and everybody else involved.
I am now waiting to have the prostate dealt with at FSH Perth.
