My parent has been suffering from Parkinson's and dementia for a number of years now. Living in a nursing home and has had a number of visits to different hospitals recently.
The nurses on duty recently at Box Hill, Taylah and Candy, really stood out above the many many nursing staff we've encountered over the years.
Both Taylah and Candy, I felt, just genuinely cared and did absolutely everything they could to make my parent as comfortable as possible.
As I was sitting at my parent's bed typing this, there were tears forming in my eyes, just knowing that these two nurses are out there doing what they can to make my parent's time at Box Hill comfortable and peaceful.
I know I thanked each of the nurses, but I'm just so moved by their kindness and care.
