"A doctor's professionalism"

About: St George Hospital

(as a service user),

I was at your hospital recently with a viral infection. The doctor who, in my opinion, does not take their job seriously at all, has no care in the world for patients, interviewed me in 5 mins, told me I will be fine in a few days.

I was coughing a lot as I work for quarantine security. It appeared they did not care one bit about my condition and then they told me to take a seat, they would organise paperwork for me. The doctor did my blood, all was good they said!

Never went through them with because it seemed they were too much in a hurry to go chat with their reception staff. I waited and waited, I then confronted a staff member and told them I need this paperwork, I have to go. The staff member then said oh the doctor has been rushed away. This happened apparently 3 times, then, I went looking for them and there they were with the reception staff having a laugh and chat.

I believe this behaviour is unacceptable. I feel they need to wake up and know that their job is very, very important and to take sick people more seriously. I am still waiting for my paperwork. I live 5 mins from your hospital. In my opinion, this is very poor behaviour, No paperwork as yet? I believe this doctor needs their manager to have a word to them. I will be writing in the reviews as well. I want my paperwork ASAP sent to me. I will be also sending an email to the health dept - I work with the quarantine dept, me coming in sick as a dog isn't a joke.
