"Thank you to the staff"

About: Karratha Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have an underlying skin infection caused by medication due to my Brain Tumor. The staff become more than a person who just treats you. While I wait to be seen or treatment, I listen to the staff and how well they work as a team. Always upbeat, happy, empathetic to which require treatment. The sad fact in some cases, I believe they are not so well treated by some. But still seem to take it on their chin and do the best they can. I admire all hospital staff at Karratha Health Campus. I have a good sense of humor.

Reg in ambulatory care at Karratha Health Campus and his team are awesome.

A BIG THANK YOU TO KHC!

Dear leathergt33,

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your recent feedback. Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive and supportive feedback of our Karratha Health Campus Emergency Department and Ambulatory Care staff members. I will be contacting the teams to convey your feedback to them in recognition of their professionalism, team work and care provided to you and all our consumers.

More often than not when people require access to our health services they are feeling anxious, vulnerable and discomfort to varying degrees. It’s good to know our staff members demonstrate compassion, empathy, and very importantly, listen to our consumers in an effort to alleviate potential distress.

A good sense of humour is very beneficial to our overall attitude when facing difficult times. I’m pleased to hear you and our staff have found this common ground to support you in your health journey.

Wishing you all the very best.

Yvonne Bagwell
