I want to commend the female staff member who took control of testing just before midday a few days ago. When I arrived, it was apparent that the facility was quickly being overwhelmed. The staff member appeared on the scene, organised the security guard to help with placing seats outside, organised umbrellas to provide shade for those waiting, supplied water, imparted some order to the, in my opinion, otherwise disorganised group awaiting testing and wiped down the seats each time they were vacated. In addition, she called in additional testing staff, to reduce what otherwise would have been an exceptionally long waiting time. Well done to that staff member. Great to see some initiative and concern for clients.

I am very grateful for your feedback.:) And thank you for your patience while we got our new processes set up. The testing demand was extremely high on Saturday due to our community responding in such an awesome way to the request to get tested.

Our team had managed the usual demand well till then but it needed a rethink. Everyone worked really hard that day to get things sorted. Cleaners and Nurses and Admin staff came in on their days off and we had wonderful support from our local businesses (Event Ops and Over the Top) who came within an hour with umbrellas and then the tent. We are blessed to be part of an amazing community who prioritised keeping our community safe. I personally felt really proud and privileged to play the role of organiser that day and support our clinical staff get such huge numbers tested.
