I am a new mother and was at a loss in regards to breastfeeding and other issues surrounding my newborn baby. They have a tongue tie and I just had a massive postpartum haemorrhage that required blood transfusion and my milk supply was not enough. The breastfeeding center was really helpful. They would return my calls in regards to my queries as there was a point in time I was very emotional to how I will feed my baby and how I will approach the tongue tie issues. Jo, the consultant who I spoke with over the phone spent time in talking to me and educating me over the phone whilst my appointment with the center is still a few weeks away. When I finally got to the center and was assessed for techniques in breastfeeding, I felt reassured that I was doing a good job and just needs more practice in certain techniques.
