"Southern Cross District Hospital"

About: Southern Cross Health Service / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Damaged 2 fingers in a farming implement which required stitches to the ring finger and little finger on the left hand.

Attended Southern Cross District Hospital and was seen by a senior nurse who photographed the damage to the doctor who okayed for him to do the suturing. The senior nurse was very caring and did an outstanding and pain-free suturing.

The service was excellent. I attended the next day for a fresh dressing and will attend S X DH to have the sutures removed in the next fortnight.

Dear indiafe54,

Thank you for your lovely feedback regarding your presentation and subsequent visits to Southern Cross Hospital.

We do always strive to give quality care, so I was pleased to hear that you received excellent and professional care from the staff. I will pass on your kind words to the nursing staff involved.

I hope that your fingers are now healing well, and your suture removal will be as pain-free as the initial suturing.

Kind Regards

Karen Horsley
