"Birth of our baby"

Our baby was born a few weeks ago at Wonthaggi Hospital. We could not praise the maternity team at the hospital more.

Since this was our first birth, we had no idea what to expect and what would come upon us. After sharing our experience at the Wonthaggi Hosptial with Friends and Family who have children, we believe there is no better and safer place to give birth. Literally, the only thing missing was the Balcony with Ocean view :-).

Stories of known private hospitals don't even come close to the caring experience we had in my opinion. A big thank you to the whole team along the way, and it is inspiring to see the beautiful work you do.

During our stay, the midwives gave us all the knowledge we, as first-time parents, needed. When we left the hospital, we were confident that we were ready for this new chapter in our life.

A special thank you, midwife Josephine and Dr Rick, who were there for us during the very last stage of labour, kept us focused and amazingly cared for us. After a long labour, Josephine kept us focused and calm. We are so glad you were there.

Thank you, midwife Barb for all the nights you took care of us three and made us smile every time.

Thank you, midwife Verity, for being there during a difficult period through labour.

Midwives Amy and Sarah, Dr Hilary, and Dr Sarah thank you for everything you did for us.

We could not recommend the maternity ward at Wonthaggi hospital more. It is inspiring to see the important work you do, and who knows, we might be back in the future :-)
